Was out at Roland's Melarium again today and got a couple of shots of the gatherers of the "show" hive he has. Happy that I got some drone portraits - you can really see the difference in their head and eye structure versus the worker bees.

Our short holiday in Fuschl got me shooting a bunch of minibeasts, however I only have the one bee pic:  Some shots from out on the meadow in Breitenfurt. Happy to catch one bee just taking off - and how pretty she is with all that pollen on her!     |
Bees!
As part of striving to becoming a better global citizen, I am following up on what we can do to help the bees that live around us. This started off as a photo project about bees but has now turned into keeping my own bees and learning more about them! Archives
